
About the game
This is the last school project we'll be doing before graduation.
Instead of doing the tech part this time i was a Gameplay designer and also a QA, as part of the training to be employable.

This game is about Timéo, who's been shrunk to a little size because of his timepiece was activated and then broke into multiple piece. The goal's to find all those piece into various "biome" which all have differents gameplay style and ambience.

QA Testing

I first used Google Sheet as a report bug tool, it was no automatical.
I set every column to be the closest to a real bug report software with the "Bug category", "Bug type", "Severity", "Description", "Step to reproduce". And also added "Biome" for a project purpose.

It is simply made with choice list nearly every column that i define myself and also colored a bit because why not.

We then with the help of one our teacher had access to Mantis, he set it up all for us, creating profile and stuff.
Since we're using it, we only used that software to report each and all bug we could possibly met during our session.
It is i think more professional that what i've done with my Sheets document and easier / accurate.

Gameplay Design
Brainstorming :
​
We used Figma to put all our ideas and conception of the gameplay we wanted.
Through a lot of brainstorming and also alone moment of reflexion.
Using that way to do was a good way for us all (GA / GD) to have a quick look at what could be a possibility of implement to our game.

Features lock :
​
Once we had an overall idea of what we wanted, that was pleasing everyone on the group we got to work, and as time pass by, some minor change as been made to meet the needs that arise during production

First screen was the first final version of what we implemented.
​
Once we were done with figma (used for brainstorming purpose), we put it all in Coda, clean and tidy so we have everything to know within a click



Dialogues :
​
One guys and I were on charge to write the dialogue of our PNJ, we gave them all a different trait and mimics of their own, making them all differents from each other.
​
Our shérif is a rock and can do nothing but stand still, but he won't aknowledge it
Our farmer is kind of the "i don't care of everything" guys
The banker is as you would expect someone who got his money close to him, and he's no willing to share that easly
We had also a spider, but he got strabismus making him funny to hear and watch
